Marbella is known as the location for the jet set from all over the world. The harbor Puerto Banus (4 kilometers South from the centre), the old town with it’s lovely ‘Plaza de Naranjas’ (orange tree square), the expensive brand shops and lots of golf courses attract a lot of rich tourists. In this international setting you’d sometimes forget that you’re in Spain. And no need to tell: bring a full wallet because prices are much higher here than anywhere else on the Costa del Sol...

Marbella is not exactly a small place (it’s very stretched), so you need to know where the ‘places to be’ are. The beach alone stretches over 30 kilometers. We need to say though that the biggest and probably most impressive ships don’t lie in Puerto Banus, but more South towards Estepona.

The market of Marbella is on Monday and Saturday morning.
