Car Rental

When you arrive at Malaga Airport (Andalusia) you can choose from a wide range of car rental companies. You can also pre-book a reservation through the internet by credit card (mostly this is a little cheaper). Prices start at 80 Euros a week. A single taxi drive from the Airport to Nerja costs between 55 and 70 Euros.

For about 50 Euros you can buy at your own risk. The minimum age is 21 years (for more expensive cars 23 or 25) and you must have had your licence for at least 1 year. Don’t forget to ask if there are any limits for the kilometres you drive when you want to drive longer distances.

It’s best to let the company know, if you require a child seat, at the time of booking. Sometimes they charge extra for arrival or leaving at night and don’t forget to check the exact specifications for the gas. Some car rental companies work with shuttle buses to pick you up from the airport when you arrive on your Andalusian holiday destination. Scooters practically are for rent, although nowadays you see some quad rentals.
