Nowadays you can fly to Spain or Andalusia (Malaga Airport) for very little money with various budget airlines. Prices vary depending upon day of the week, season and the amount of time before the flight. Mostly early booking is cheaper, but just a few days before, you might get a last-minute discount.

Flight discounters like Transavia, Iberia, Ryan Air, Vueling and Air Berlin often have cheap tickets, but you have to check if it’s a direct flight. And compare the prices completely with taxes and luggage indication. For example: if you travel with Ryan Air you can have 10 kilos of hand luggage instead of 5 kilos. But if you book an extra suitcase (these only go up to 15 kilos) for 40 euros, they expect you to come with 2 suitcases of 7,5 kilos (!)…

You can book an all-inclusive holiday with apartment or hotel, flight and car or you can look on the internet for the cheapest price of all items. Mostly this isn’t really that much cheaper, but you can choose your own flight time, so you’re sure you don’t have to fly at 5 in the morning.

Besides perfect beach holidays Andalucia also offers all kinds of alternative holidays throughout the whole year. You could go hiking, horseback riding, fishing, biking, rent a touring car or do a language trip. Particularly outside of high season, this isn't that expensive.
